Dave Sabo, CSCS, TPI

Dave earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Cal State Fullerton with an emphasis on Kinesiology. Since then he has been consistently learning the most current training philosophies and techniques. For more than a decade Dave has been training athletes of all levels and skill abilities including high school, collegiate, and professional level.
Dave is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). His skill lies not only in creating an effective and efficient training program, but also in his ability to accurately diagnose dysfunction and quickly provide a remedy. His training style is an eclectic mix of assessment, functional correction, and strengthening within every session. This provides each client with the most efficient training method to optimize function and create overall strength.
Dave’s primary goal is to create an athlete with a high level of movement skill and function. His knowledge is continually growing through relentless education. He utilizes the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to ensure proper analysis of every athlete. This allows him to create a training program that is customized to each athlete and geared towards achieving optimum functional performance.
Dave’s expertise in creating superior human function has allowed him to train athletes from many different sports, including elites from the MLB, PGA, Web.com Tour, and NCAA. He is also continually sought after by other strength coaches and fitness professionals for consult and programming recommendations. He has helped others in his field develop more efficient programs and provide better tools for more accurately assessing athletes in their facilities.
Dave’s certifications and educational experiences are numerous, but included in this list are: Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Taylor Made Master Trainer, Certified Golf Fitness Specialist by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and Certified Golf Bio-Mechanist through the CHEK Institute.
